Although tuition at top business schools can be quite expensive, the future salary gains substantially outweigh the costs. Graduate business school quite simply features an extremely strong return on investment. According to a survey published by the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC), business school graduates typically earn between $500,000 and $1 million more over a period of 20 years than comparable professionals without graduate business training. The median base salary of business school alumni is $2.5 million in 20 years, which is an average of $125,000 per year. Estimates of tuition and fees at Harvard Business School, for example, show that the cost of a two-year MBA program is about $213,000, meaning that subsequent earnings for the typical MBA holder are more than 10 times greater than costs. Another study published in Forbes magazine showed that MBA graduates generally saw immediate salary increases of 50% over their pre-MBA compensation. MBA holders are clearly in high demand in the business world, and an MBA is one of the best things anyone can do to advance his or her career.

This is just to let you know how I did in my GMAT. I got 710 overall, with my essays collectively graded at 5.5. I was quite pleased with my result. Please pass on my thanks to our instructor. I thought he was an excellent tutor and I enjoyed his approach to teaching the (invariably dry) subject matter.
